Jane Gilbertson McGuffin

I'm probably the only serious songwriter - at least in Philadelphia - who finances all these recording sessions by working as a psychologist. Most people have more than one talent! In 2008, songs started dancing in my head and there was no choice but to record them and seek out an audience. They are rocky, poppy, serene, not always about love, but often about female desire. My newest favorite, Every Life is a Theme Park, is a unisex version of life's journey. I do words and melody and use a team of arrangers and vocalists for all the rest.
